Tabankulu tertiary is a third-stage residential facility for those who have completed primary and/or secondary care treatment.

The tertiary care facility is a gracious double-storey Victorian House with 8 bedrooms, accommodating 16 residents and is situated in the leafy Cape Town suburb of Kenilworth with easy access to public transport, shops and other facilities.

Residents are guided in creating an individual programme to meet their own specific needs.  Those who are not in fulltime employment or studies will be assisted in finding suitable volunteer work.  Career and study advice will be given and work placements arranged where possible.

• Career and interview guidance
• Planning and managing a personal budget
• Regular attendance at 12 step fellowship meetings
• Life skills
• Communal hikes
• Recovery life coaching workshops

Our aim is to provide guidance through the final phase of re-integration, to give practical assistance in the management of day-to-day living and to encourage active participation in a balanced and healthy recovery lifestyle.
